
Jean-Claude Nasr, Vice-President, Growth
Averda announced the appointment of Jean-Claude Nasr as the new Vice-President for Growth. Jean-Claude has over two decades of experience working with some of the biggest names in energy generation, including GE and Siemens and will be responsible for executing Averda’s growth strategy, following their recent move into India.
He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Florida Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida. He started his career in marketing and sales in the energy industry and went on to hold several leadership positions, covering territories that included the Middle East, Africa, India, Pakistan, and Turkey.
Jean-Claude is based at Averda’s headquarters in Dubai where he is responsible for sales, marketing and customer experience functions in all of the company’s territories. He will be responsible for ensuring strategic, customer-focused growth across the various markets, from South Africa to India.
This appointment underpins the company’s strategic focus to ensure it is optimised for growth and will allow the management team to take advantage of a strong pipeline of new business, according to the statement. Averda recently moved into the Indian market with services launched in Amritsar.
