Yousif Bin Saeed Al Lootah, Founder, CEO of Lootah Biofuels

Following the success of his endeavours in biofuel manufacturing from used cooking oil, Yousif Lootah has gone one step ahead and entered into a partnership with Malaysia’s FatHopes Energy aiming to establish a comprehensive supply chain for SAF in the region.

Yousif Bin Saeed Al Lootah is currently the Executive Director of S.S. Lootah Group, as well as the Founder and CEO of Lootah Biofuels. One of the young Emirati CEOs, Al Lootah is a pioneer in the biofuel sector in the UAE and oversees the strategic direction, expansion, and daily operations of Lootah Biofuels in the UAE and internationally. 

He introduced Lootah Biofuels with the aim of creating a market for and innovating sustainable solutions for the long-term energy requirements of the UAE and beyond. Al Lootah has been the brain behind many of the company's sustainable initiatives. 

After the success of his endeavours in biofuel manufacturing from used cooking oil, Yousif Lootah has gone one step ahead and entered into a partnership with Malaysia’s FatHopes Energy aiming to establish a comprehensive supply chain for SAF in the region. 

Prior to introducing Lootah Biofuels, Al Lootah was actively involved in the sustainable initiatives by the S.S. Lootah Group, such as the Green Car Program, which has seen an excellent progression since its inception, starting from the conversion of part of the company fleet to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), followed by the use of Hybrid, Electric, Biodiesel and Solar vehicles in recent years. Al Lootah is working towards his vision of reaching 70% sustainable and renewable transportation in the GCC market.
