National Environmental Recycling Company (Tadweeer), a leading company specialising in the recycling of electronic and electrical equipment, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, KSA, to establish a centre for electronic waste recycling and renewal of electrics, according to a report published in Zawya.

Under the MoU, Tadweeer will build a centre with a capacity to process 15,000 systems per month, the state-owned SPA reported. The agreement has set a recycling target of processing one million products within five years.

Workshops will be organised for public and private entities to raise their awareness on the importance of electronics recycling and renewal.
