FIMIC SRL, an Italy-based company that specialises in the design and manufacture of automatic and self-cleaning screen changers for plastic recycling, has turned 60. 

To celebrate this milestone, it is sending out a special box to its customers world-wide. The box tells FIMIC’s story, describing the many challenges that it overcame along the way and what made it a leading company in the plastic recycling technology industry.  Besides fun facts about recycling, the box also contains the children's book “The Magical Journey of the Plastic Bottle and RAS-UP” published by FIMIC.  

According to the statement from the company, “Our mission from the start has been to improve the recyclability of materials in order to reduce pollution. This is also reflected in our Are You R, a European project co-founded by FIMIC, and is aimed at raising awareness of the importance of recycling plastics, which through our international social networks reach hundreds of thousands of people each day across many countries.”
